SBI Solar Loan & Empaneled Vendor Guide for Assam

To make rooftop solar affordable for every household, the State Bank of India (SBI) has launched the PM Surya Ghar Solar Loan Scheme. Under this scheme, homeowners in Assam can obtain collateral-free loans up to ₹2,00,000 at attractive low interest rates (around 7% p.a.) with zero processing fees.

To qualify for an SBI solar loan, the rooftop solar system MUST be installed by an SBI-approved empanelled vendor such as Solar Assam.

How to Apply for SBI Surya Ghar Solar Loan with Solar Assam

  1. Register your application on pmsuryaghar.gov.in and select Solar Assam as your empanelled vendor.
  2. Apply for the solar loan directly on the portal or via SBI YONO Mobile App under the PM Surya Ghar Loan tab.
  3. Upload your APDCL bill, Aadhaar card, income proof/bank statement, and Solar Assam quotation.
  4. SBI sanctions and disburses the loan directly to Solar Assam upon physical installation and net meter commissioning.
